Golf in the Texel dune landscape De Texelse is a links course with dunes, water features and large greens. It has a unique Par 3 course suitable for the novice golfer. The experienced golfer can enjoy the Par 72 course with challenging obstacles. The pleasant golf clubhouse, ’t Hanenhuus, offers grand views (also for non-golfers) of the course and the sand dunes. This can of course be enjoyed with a snack or drink. There is also an excellent lunch menu. The Club Sandwich comes highly recommended. De Texelse has recently started to enlarge the course from 9 to 18 holes. It is expected that it will be an 18-hole course by 2011.
